Should your abstract be among the top six as assessed by our team of reviewers, you will receive an invitation to present your poster in person at the ACC Quality Summit in Orlando. Your presentation will take place at a designated time in the Summit Showcase Poster Hall. Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite ePoster, to be awarded on day 2 of the conference!

We will present the following Awards to the Top Six ePosters:

Nomination Portal for the Distinguished Excellence in Health Care Quality Award now OPEN!

Established in 2022, the ACC Distinguished Excellence in Health Care Quality Award was created to recognize the outstanding contributions from CV Team professionals to the ACC's NCDR and/or ACC Accreditation Services. Nominations are open to identify the recipient for this year, to be awarded during the Quality Summit 2026. The recipient of this award will be presented with an individual award and recognized in multiple ACC communications.

Eligibility Criteria & Selection:
The ACC Distinguished Excellence in Cardiovascular Health Care Quality award is presented annually to a non-physician member (Cardiac Care Associate, Associate of the American College of Cardiology or non-physician Fellow of the American College of Cardiology) whose outstanding contributions have further enhanced the implementation and value of the NCDR and ACC Accreditation Services within the larger cardiovascular professional community.

This can be demonstrated through:
- Extraordinary application of NCDR and/or ACC Accreditation Services in their local care environment
- Volunteerism in areas specific to the ACC Quality Summit including and not limited to:
- Planning participation
- Faculty invitation
- Abstract/poster submission
- Committee appointments

To be eligible for this award, the member must not have received the Distinguished Excellence in Cardiovascular Health Care Quality Award previously. Awardees must have an active ACC membership, with preference to members of the Cardiovascular Team Section.

Apply for the CV Team Quality Summit Travel Award TODAY!

The American College of Cardiology’s Cardiovascular Team Section is offering travel awards for cardiovascular team members to attend the 2026 Quality Summit taking place in Orlando, FL from September 16-18, 2026. Expenses including airfare, lodging, meals, and ground transportation up to $1,000 will be reimbursed for travel to Orlando.

Eligibility Criteria & Selection:
• Applicants must be a member of the ACC’s Cardiovascular Team Section
• Membership in selected Member Section must be current through December 31, 2026
• Applicants are eligible for one (1) CV Team travel award
• Applicants must not have previously received an ACC CV Team travel award within the last (2) years.

Expectations:
• Attendance in a minimum of five Quality Summit Conference sessions
• Mandatory participation in the Quality Summit Poster Hall
• Mandatory visit to one Conference Exhibitor
• Mandatory participation in the conference Networking Reception
• Highly encouraged to write a brief 250 word reflection on conference experience and how it will impact your practice
• Highly encouraged to be the CV Team Section Media Ambassador for the ACC Quality Summit
